Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival & Fair Association is pleased to announce its annual Scholarship Program awarding four (4) $1,000 scholarships.

Applications are open to all Louisiana residents who are attending or enrolled to attend a 4-year college, master’s program, doctorate program, or Technical/2-year college. 

The criteria for selection of successful candidates includes strength and quality of application completion, awards and community service, grades and academic qualifications.

Relatives of the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival & Fair Association Board of Directors and Contestants competing for the Queen Sugar title are not eligible to apply.

To be considered for the scholarship, the application must be submitted by 11:59pm, Monday, August 31, 2026.

Recipients of the scholarships will be notified via phone call by September 7, 2026, and scholarships will be publicly awarded on Saturday, September 26, 2026, during the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival Queen Sugar Pageant held at Westgate Auditorium. More details will be provided to the recipients.
